Fair use rationale for Image:RipperCrewMash2.jpg

edit

Image:RipperCrewMash2.jpgis being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used underfair usebut there is noexplanation or rationaleas to why its use inthisWikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to theboilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent withfair use.

Please go tothe image description pageand edit it to include afair use rationale.Using one of the templates atWikipedia:Fair use rationale guidelineis an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described oncriteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page.Thank you.

edit
An image used in this article,File:Realrippers.jpg, has been nominated for deletion atWikimedia Commonsin the following category:Media without a source as of 16 August 2011
What should I do?

Don't panic;a discussion will now take place over on Commons about whether to remove the file. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion, although please review Commons guidelines before doing so.

  • If the image isnon-freethen you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is nofair use rationalethen it cannot be uploaded or used.

Doxing?

edit

"As of June 30, 2019, Thomas lives at Wayside Cross Ministries at 215 E. New York St. in Aurora, Illinois" seems to be inappropriate information regarding the home of a living individual. Objectively, such detailed information has no place in an encyclopedia.Reub80(talk)14:30, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
