Valla-Ljóts saga(sagas of Icelandersdating from the 13th century. [1]
) is one of theThe saga tells of events inSvarfaðardalurduring and after the introduction of Christianity. The saga can be seen as a continuation ofSvarfdœla sagawhich is set in the same vicinity. The saga centers on chieftains Ljót Ljótólfsson from Völlum inSvarfaðardalurand his opponent Gudmund Eyjólfsson the mighty (Guðmundr inn ríki Eyjólfsson).[2][3][4][5]
