Valla-Ljóts saga(listen) is one of thesagas of Icelandersdating from the 13th century. [1]

The saga tells of events inSvarfaðardalurduring and after the introduction of Christianity. The saga can be seen as a continuation ofSvarfdœla sagawhich is set in the same vicinity. The saga centers on chieftains Ljót Ljótólfsson from Völlum inSvarfaðardalurand his opponent Gudmund Eyjólfsson the mighty (Guðmundr inn ríki Eyjólfsson).[2][3][4][5]
