In 2020, Brill starred as an apparition come to life ofWilliam Shakespearein the filmThe Scottish Play.In addition to his television and film work, Brill has also appeared on Broadway, as part of the original cast ofAct One,as Ed in the 2014 revival ofYou Can't Take It with You,and as Ali Hakim in the reimagined 75th-anniversary revival ofOklahoma!.He has also appeared in off-Broadway productions ofTribesandOur Town,both directed byDavid Cromer.[4]Additionally, Brill also starred inStereophonic,a show on Broadway loosely based on the creation of theFleetwood MacalbumRumours,winning theTony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Playfor his performance.
