Heidenreich never took the title of "road warrior" so Im gonna go ahead and take that out of his name.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.224.78.223 (talk) 21:02, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

The Greatest
edit"Generally recognized as the greatest tag team in professional wrestling history" - Very POV. We definitely need some citations to back this up! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mike Infinitum (talk • contribs) 22:36, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
There only was TWO Road Warriors
editThe "Legion of Doom" it could be argued had several members over the years, but the actual Road Warriors tag team was simply Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal - there was never a "Road Warrior Heidenreich" for example. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.242.202.168 (talk) 23:25, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
- However, there was "Power Warrior", so your example is invalid. It's best to keep it together because they seemed to have expanded, not become a new group altogether. srsrox BlahBlahBlah... 12:50, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
King Kong Bundy
editBundy was never a member of the Legion of Doom. Paul Ellering made Ron Garvin go through Bundy in order to get a shot at the TV title held by LOD member Jake Roberts. Ellering insulted Bundy while on TV, and stated he wasn't a member when asked by Gordon Solie. Bundy jumped Ellering and became a face for rest of his Georgia run. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTZPe0sRPYk&feature=youtu.be&t=1260 NWAjr. (talk) 23:55, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

S&M/Homoerotic
editWhy is this not in the article? They staryed out looking like the Biker from the Village People, with flat black caps, tight leather trousers, and Village People moustaches.
Later, they added dog collars with chains. Plus, their early photos show them in homoerotic poses.
It was really only doing their AWA run that they started phasing that aspect out. Even so, their NWA/JCP run maintained the S&M aspect.
That's what set Demolition and the Powers of Pain apart. Those two teams were basically the Road Warriors, but with all the "kinky" and gay stuff removed.
It was really only when they got to the WWF thst they had 'lost' that side of the Road Warriors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.87.101.165 (talk) 12:52, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
- If you can find a reliable source that supports this, then by all means put it in the article.
- (Personally I suspect they picked that up from Mad Max 2 not realising that the makers of Mad Max 2 got their ideas from the gay scene. See also Demolition's strappy outfits which came from Humongous's outfit which came from an S/M outfit - except that on the gay scene they are made of leather, whereas Ax and Smash's gear was made of cloth.) Romomusicfan (talk) 15:02, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- By the way, the point of the Biker and other looks on the gay scene as worn by the VPs was to subvert and poke fun at macho stereotypes such as bikers, construction workers etc and offend the macho homoerotic types who were real construction workers, bikers etc. 15:06, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
Clash of the Champions 24
editThey showed up at Clash 24 (August 93) in WCW as Dustin Rhodes’ tag partners. Hawk wrestled, Animal was in their corner. Zero mention of this in the article. 2601:281:D480:2FE4:94E4:994F:BF61:C605 (talk) 02:22, 19 March 2022 (UTC)

- Support, and to be honest there are a lot of other pro wrestling articles that need "The" removing from their titles. — Czello (music) 13:04, 4 July 2023 (UTC)

- Move to Road Warriors (wrestling team) Rreagan007 (talk) 00:57, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- Comment "(wrestling team)" does not seem to be a parenthetical qualifier in use, aside from a few redirects. Why not just "(wrestling)", or if preferred "(professional wrestling)", though qualifiers should be as concise as possible, and wrestling alone should be sufficient.
