Version Differences
editDoes anyone want to mention the differences between the UK Amazon version and Hulu version? The "piece of cake" scene is mentioned but the Amazon version also includes an extended dialogue between the French bartender and Grillo's character AND the lengthy dialogue between Gibson and Watt's character (the Python strangling the Boar to save it's nest, which saves Gibson's character).
Summary for this movie
editSummary
editThe movie begins with a panning shot of the apartment Roy resides in. Roy wakes up as a man with a machete attempts to kill him, and defeats the assailant with a mental narration of his actions, after which he drinks some coffee while still apparently effortlessly dodging the attacks of the machete assassin. When a Huey helicopter attacks his apartment, it mistakes the machete wielding assailant for Roy, and the gunner shoots him dead with an M134 machine gun. Turning out from behind a pillar which he used to conceal himself, Roy throws a knife which strikes the gunner in the forehead, and kills him. A few moments later, the minigun, still firing but no longer aimed, drifts into the direction of the cockpit, and the pilot is shot dead. The helicopter then slams into his apartment, and Roy jumps out of the apartment onto a truck filled with sand as the helicopter detonates. Roy then hijacks a convertible, and fends off two women in a van. The movie then initiates a series of flashbacks showing how all of the previous resets failed.
