Kelly Olivia Gale[2](born 14 May 1995) is a Swedish model.[3]She is known globally for her work forVictoria's Secret,theSports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue,andPlayboy,as well as being featured in the music video of "Duele el Corazón"byEnrique Iglesias.

Early life
editGale was born and raised inGothenburg,Sweden. She also lived inGhanafor four years, and in Australia.[4]Her mother Gita (who is a dentist and former pilot)[5]was born inPune,Maharashtra,India and was adopted by a Swedish family at age 5.[6][4]Kelly's father Jeff is a photographer and former footballer fromTatura,Victoria,Australia.[7][8]Gale has two younger brothers.[9]
Gale has been involved in sports since an early age. She played football withNäsets SKinGothenburgand tennis since she was seven years old.[10]She attended Näsetskolan andGöteborgs Högre Samskola.[11]
At age 13, she was discovered by amodel agentoutside a coffee shop in Gothenburg.[12]Initially, Gale's parents were opposed to her working as a model but she eventually started modeling one year later.[13]One of her first modelling jobs was forH&M.[14]
Career

In 2013, she was chosen to walk theVictoria's Secret Fashion Showfor the first time, she has since walked the show in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Gale has been in adverts and catalogues ofH&Mand H-I-G-H. She has walked runways forAzzedine Alaia,Chanel,Monique Lhuillier,Tommy Hilfiger,Band of Outsiders,Narciso Rodriguez,Badgley Mischka,Vivienne Tam,Ralph Lauren,Christopher Kane,Reem Acra,Tom Ford,Jean Paul Gaultier,John Galliano,Academy of Arts,Diane von Fürstenberg,Nanette Lepore,L'Wren Scott,Thomas Tait, Houghton,Rag & BoneandVictoria's Secret.
She has been featured on the cover ofFrench Revue des Modes,and on editorials ofTeen Vogue,Vogue Italia,Elle,Vogue IndiaandLucky.
In 2016, Gale was thePlayboy Playmateof the Month for September 2016.[15][16]
Gale leads a healthy lifestyle, paying particular attention to the type of food she eats. She trains for 2–3 hours each day and ramps up the tempo in the weeks prior to theVictoria's Secret Fashion Show.[17]Herfitnessregime includespower walking,jogging,bo xing,andyoga.[18]
Personal life
editGale was in a long-term relationship with a Swedish business manager, Johannes Jarl.[19]As of early 2019, she has been in a relationship with Swedish actorJoel Kinnaman.[20]She became engaged to Kinnaman in January 2021[21]and on September 3rd announced on Instagram their wedding.
