He is known for producing many songs in the soundtrack ofPanty & Stocking with Garterbelt,which charted onOricon Albums Chart.He is also known for partnering withDaokoin "ME!ME!ME!", ananime music videosubmitted to the 2014Japan Animator Expo.[3]

TeddyLoid's career first began by publishingremixesonMySpace,where he gained popularity and climbed to the top of the platform's electronic indie chart.[3]In 2008, he toured internationally asMiyavi's background DJ in the guitarist's "This Iz The Japanese Kabuki Rock Tour 2008".[3][4]

TeddyLoid's first partnership withTaku Takahashicame when Takahashi created his record label, TCY Records. In the record label's debut album,TCY Recordings Sampler Vol.0,TeddyLoid produced the song "Another Day".[5]The two then worked together on the soundtrack for the anime seriesPanty & Stocking with Garterbelt,with TeddyLoid producing multiple songs.[6]The soundtrack album,Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Original Soundtrack,reached 10th on theOricon Albums Chart,[7]while its follow-up albumPanty & Stocking with Garterbelt The Worst Albumalso reached 24th.[8]In 2011, he formed Galaxias! along with vocalistKo Shibasakiand music producerDeco*27.[4]The three produced one album titledGalaxias!and toured Japan, including a concert atNippon Budokan.[9]

On 17 September 2014, TeddyLoid released his debut album,Black Moon Rising.[10]Then, for the 2014Japan Animator Expo,TeddyLoid produced the music for ananime music video"ME!ME!ME!", which was visualized byHibiki YoshizakifromStudio Kharaand vocals sang byDaoko.The music was written in three parts, and the video, notable for its sexual violence content, featured a male protagonist in asurreal-psychedelicsetting while surrounded by nude women, which becomes a viral hit over 100 million views onYouTube.[11][12]A follow-up remix titled "Me!Me!Me! Chronic" was released in May 2015.[13]In 2015, TeddyLoid partnered withMomoiro Clover Zand releasedRe:Momoiro Clover Z,which featured remixes of the idol group's songs and has also composed two of his own VOCALOID originals, including "Over Drive", "Invisible Lovers" and ULTRA C.[14][15]He then releasedSilent Planetlater the same year and began releasing a series of follow-upextended playsunder the same title. Each release featured different artists includingKohh,Bonjour Suzuki,Chanmina,Aina the End,andIA.The series then cumulated in two albums,Silent Planet: ReloadedandSilent Planet: Infinity.[16][17][18]

In 2016, TeddyLoid was the fifth most-listened-to Japanese artist outside of Japan onSpotify.[19]In 2018, he worked with virtual YouTuberKizuna AIto produce the single "melty world", which he later remixed himself in 2020 to create a "black" version of the title to sound like it was sung by Kizuna AI's cynical alternate ego, Kizuna AI Black. February 17, 2018, TeddyLoid made his first American performance in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a DJ for a concert atAnime Milwaukee.[20]

In 2021, he collaborated with fellow DJ/Music Producer, Giga. Their first major song together was "Odo",a single forAdo.Their other collaborations include "KIKIKAIKAI" (feat.Yuzu), "Let's End the World" (feat.Mori Calliope), "Desperate" (feat. LOLUET), "Show"(feat. Ado)," Let Me Battle "(feat. 9Lana),"Go-Getters"(feat. Mori Calliope)," ULTRA C "(feat.Kagamine Rin & Len), and "Pikaaan!" (feat. Rina Matsuda & Hikaru Morita ofSakurazaka46).

In 2022, he made his debut in the rhythm gameArcaeawith the song "Defection", with DELTA on vocals for the packFinal Verdict.In 2024, he released "Gimme Dat" on Tokyo Machine's label CHOMPO.
