1986 Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft

The1986 Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaftwas the third season of premier German touring car championship and also first season under the moniker ofDeutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft.^[1]^[2]

The championship was run under modifiedGroup Aregulations, which was won byKurt Thiimdriving aRover Vitesse.^[1]^[3]
