Aaron Dismuke

Aaron Mitchell Dismuke(born October 13, 1992) is an American voice actor,ADR directorand script writer. He is known for his role asAlphonse Elricin the English dub of the firstFullmetal Alchemisttelevision series, whom he voiced when he was 12 years old. He is also known for his directorial work for the English dubs ofNanbaka,Shomin Sample,Tsugumomo,Cheer Boys!!,Kaguya-sama: Love Is War,Black Clover,Dr. StoneandLuck & Logic.

Biography

Dismuke made his start as a young child. His cousin, voice actor and directorJustin Cook,helped to gain him his first role. He started voice acting at nine years old, where he voicedHiro Sohmaand the youngAkito SohmainFruits Basket(2001).

When he was twelve years old, he was given his first lead role asAlphonse ElricinFullmetal Alchemist.InFullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood,his role of Alphonse Elric was replaced byMaxey Whiteheaddue to puberty, but returns to reprise his role in thelive-action movieon Netflix. He also voiced the youngVan Hohenheim,the Elric brothers' father inFullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

He is also the voice of many characters such as Chihiro Furuya fromSankarea,Lucifer fromThe Devil is a Part-Timer!,Arslan fromThe Heroic Legend of Arslan,Twelve fromTerror in Resonance,Shun Asanaga fromEndride,Hayashi fromRecovery of an MMO Junkie,Leonardo Watch fromBlood Blockade Battlefront,Van FanelfromThe Vision of Escaflowne,Senku IshigamifromDr. Stoneand Miyuki Shirogane inKaguya-sama: Love Is War.
