Early life and youth career

Born inMalappuram,Abdul started his youth career at MSP Higher Secondary School in 2013.[1]He then moved to theunder-16 teamof Indian Super League clubBengaluru FC,[2]where he represented the club inElite Youth League.[3]He then moved to thereserve sideofKerala Blasters FCin 2019,[4]and featured for the club in the2019–20 I-League 2nd Divisionseason,[5]and for the2019–20 Kerala Premier Leagueseason,[6]which they ended up as the champions.[7]

Luca Soccer Club

In 2020, Abdul signed for theKerala Premier LeaguesideLuca Soccer Club,where he spent the2020–21 season.[8]He then left the club in June 2021 for Hyderabad FC.[9]

Hyderabad FC

On 22 June 2021, it was announced thatHyderabad FChas signed Abdul for the2021–22 season.[10]He was initially signed for theirreserve squad,[11]after being scouted by the club during his days at Luca SC.[12]Abdul was included in the club's squad for the2021 Durand Cuptournament,[13]where he scored his debut goal in his debut game for the club on 12 September in their 5–0 win overAssam Rifles.[14]Abdul, along with Mark Zothanpuia was then promoted to the senior team for2021–22 Indian Super League season.[15]He made his league debut on 23 December in the match againstSC East Bengalas a substitute forAniket Jadhavin the 83rd minute of the game,[16]which ended in a 1–1 draw.[17]He included in the playing 11 at first againstJamshedpur,which ended in a defeat in a 3–0 final score.
