Abraham Belay(Amharic:አብራሃም በላይ) is an Ethiopian politician serving as theMinister of Water, Irrigation and Electricitysince 2024.[5]Belay served as theMinister of Defensefrom 2021. An ethnicTigrayan,[6]he previously served as theMinister of Innovation and Technology,[3][7]and as president of theTigray RegionProsperity Party.[1]
