Adam Munro(born November 12, 1982) is a Canadian professionalice hockeygoaltender.He played 17 games in theNational Hockey Leaguewith theChicago Blackhawksduring the2003–04and2005–06 seasons.The rest of his career, which lasted from 2003 to 2015, was spent in the minor leagues and then in Europe.

editMunro was drafted in the 3rd round, 58th overall by theErie Ottersin the 1998Ontario Hockey LeagueDraft after winning the Championship in theAlliance Hockeyleague with Brantford.
During the 2000-01 OHL season, Munro went on a 22 game unbeaten streak (17-0-5) and finished with a 26-6-6 record and set 2Erie Ottersfranchise records with a 2.31 GAA and.920 SV%. He participated in theCHL/NHL Top Prospects Gamein Calgary, Alberta playing for Team Orr, beating Team Cherry.
Munro was drafted in the 1st round, 29th overall by theChicago Blackhawksin the2001 NHL Entry Draft.He split his time between Chicago andNorfolk Admirals (AHL)during the 03-04 and 05-06 season. He spent the majority of the 2004-05NHL lockoutin the AHL.
Munro signed as free agent withHC Fribourg-Gottéronon July 7, 2006.
He spent the2007–08 seasonwith theColumbus Blue Jackets' AHL affiliate, TheSyracuse Crunch.
During the2008–09 AHL seasonhe played for theToronto Marlies,the farm team for theToronto Maple Leafs.
On October 15, 2009, Munro was re-signed by the Marlies under a professional try-out contract. He left the Marlies to sign a contract withHC Sibir Novosibirskof theKontinental Hockey Leagueon January 15, 2010.
In the2013–14season, with HC TWK Innsbruck, Munro was credited with a goal December 30, 2013, against theEHC Black Wings Linz.[1]
On April 26, 2017, Munro was listed as the #2 goalie inErie Otters' History by The Hockey Writers.[2]
On October 30, 2019, theHamilton Steelhawks,of theAllan Cup Hockeyleague, announced that they had signed Munro for the 2019-2020 season.[3]
