Akasaka(Xích bản)is a residential and commercial district ofMinato, Tokyo,Japan, located west of the government center inNagatachōand north of theRoppongidistrict.

Akasaka's public elementary and junior high schools are operated by theMinato City Board of Education([2]in English,[31]in Japanese).

Akasaka 1-9-chōmeare zoned to Akasaka Elementary School (Xích bản tiểu học giáo) and Akasaka Junior High School (Xích bản trung học giáo).[32]

Akasaka High School[ja][3]was operated by theTokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education.It closed down in March 2009. It reopened the next month as theAoyamacampus ofŌta Sakuradai High School[ja][4].

Third Junior & Senior High School of Nihon Universitywas previously in Akasaka, but it moved toMachidain 1976.[33]

Libraries

The Akasaka Library has moved to a new building in 2007, near the Aoba Park and the Aoyama-itchōme subway station.[34]
