Aksiyon(English:Action) was aTurkishnews magazine.The magazine was close to theGülen movement.[2]It was established byFeza Publicationsin 1994. In 2008 it was described by itsToday's Zamansister newspaper as "the most widely read Turkish weekly magazine" (its nearly 40,000 circulation accounted for over half the weekly news magazine market).[3]Its circulation had increased from around 15,000 in 2001.[3]It broke some major stories including (May 1996) a secret military agreement between Turkey and Israel; and comments by MajorŞefik Soyuyüceadmitting the use of students to create a crisis in preparation for the1960 Turkish coup d'état.[3]
