As-Sayl Al-Kabīr(Arabic:ٱلسَّيْل ٱلْكَبِيْر) is a village inMakkah Region,westernSaudi Arabia,[1]which is located some distance from the city ofTaif.Abdullahibn Abbasnarrated that his cousin, theIslamicProphetMuhammad,had fixedQarn al-Manāzil(قَرْن ٱلْمَنَازِل) as themiqatfor the people ofNajd.It has also been used as amiqatby people coming from places likeOman,theU.A.E.,Pakistan,MalaysiaandAustralia.[2]
