Domingo Vusotros Brotamante Jr.(January 12, 1964 – February 9, 2019), better known asBentong,was a Filipino comedian, actor, and television host.

Early life
editBentong was born inTabaco,Albay,Philippines on January 12, 1964.[1]
Career
editBentong started his career in showbiz as a production assistant atABS-CBN.One of his earlier film roles was as Hilary's driver inHome Along da Riles da Movieand since then made several cameos in other films.[2]His other roles in film was as Juanito in the 2002 filmJologsand Macoy in the 2014 horror anthology filmShake, Rattle & Roll XV.[2]He was also part of the cast of the 2008 filmOne Night Only.[3]
He also played roles in numerousvariety showsof the television network namelyWowoweeandMagandang Tanghali Bayan.[3]Bentong became known for being the co-host ofWillie Revillamein the latter's noontime television shows.[2]One of his known later television appearances was inLuv Uwhich aired from 2012 to 2016 where he portrayed the character Mang Jules.[3]
Bentong also made an appearance in an episode ofGMA Network'sWagaswhich featured his love story with his spouse Cecille Bernal which also featured commentaries from himself and his wife.[2]
Personal life
editBentong was married to Cecille Bernal and had four children.[4]He was also adiabetic.[2]
Death
editBentong suffered from acardiac arreston February 9, 2019, and was rushed to the Fairview General Hospital inQuezon Citywhere he was declared dead on arrival.[1]
