Career
editCollege and amateur
editDuckett played youth soccer in Georgia and played forMcIntosh High Schoolwhere he captained the squad to a state title in his senior season. Duckett joined theNotre Dame Fighting Irishin 2007 and was the starting right back during his last two years with the school.
Professional
editDuckett was drafted first in the third round (37th overall) in the2011 MLS SuperDraftbyVancouver Whitecaps FC.[1]His versatility impressed coachTeitur Thordarson,who used Duckett, a natural right back, at center back and left back during the 2011 pre-season.[2]The club signed Duckett on March 15, 2011,[3]and he made his professional debut on June 1 in a game againstChivas USA.
Duckett was waived by Vancouver on November 23, 2011.[4]
Duckett signed withUSL ProteamHarrisburg City Islanderson March 27, 2012.[5]
Duckett signed with theMLSteamNew England Revolutionon February 11, 2013.[6]
On February 20, 2014, Duckett signed withUSL ProclubCharlotte Eagles.[7]
After the Eagles moved to theUSL PDL,Duckett signed with USL sideSacramento Republic,before again moving toCharlotte Independencesoon after on April 10, 2015.[8]Duckett left Charlotte after their 2018 season.[9]
