Bill Mondy(born June 16, 1963), sometimes credited asBill Monday,is an American film, television, and voice actor.[1]He is known for his roles as Deputy Roscoe in the television seriesThe Dead Zone[2]and for voicing characters such as Mr. Black inJohnny Testand Evac inTransformers: Cybertron.[3][4]

Early life and education
editBill Mondy was born inRochester, New York.[3][5][6]He earned aBachelor of Fine Arts(BFA) from theUniversity of Illinois Urbana-Champaignin 1985 and a master's degree fromNew York University's Graduate Acting Program in 1988.[7][5][8]
Career
editAfter completing his education, Mondy began his acting career in theater, performing off-Broadway in productions such as a revival ofLanford Wilson'sThe Rimers of Eldritchat The Second Stage.[9][10][11]He also played leading roles in regional theaters across the United States, including theArena Stage,Actors Theatre of Louisville,The Huntington Theatrein Boston, andSouth Coast Repertory.
Mondy moved to Los Angeles and began a career in film and television. He is best known for his appearances inStar Trek: Deep Space Nine(in the episode "Armageddon Game")[12]andThe Dead Zone.[7]He also made guest appearances inWolf LakeandThe 4400.[citation needed]His television credits includeL.A. Law,[5]Touched by an Angel,andUC: Undercover.He had recurring roles inBlade: The Series,[13][14]Reunion,Smallville,and portrayed Deputy Roscoe in nearly 40 episodes ofThe Dead Zone.[2][15]
His film appearances include roles inThe Crow: Salvation,[7]I Spy,[16]andMiracle.[17]
