TheBishop of Tauntonis anepiscopaltitle used by asuffragan bishopof theChurch of EnglandDiocese of Bath and Wells,in theProvince of Canterbury,England.[1]The title was first created under theSuffragan Bishops Act 1534and takes its name afterTaunton,thecounty townofSomerset.
Ruth Worsleywas consecrated Bishop of Taunton[2]on 29 September 2015.[3]
