Early life

Wallace grew up inRobbinsville Township, New Jersey.[2]He attendedRobbinsville High Schoolfor two years before transferring to theHun School of Princeton.[3]He was teamcaptainin his last two years and was a three-time All-Mid-Atlantic Prep League(MAPL) selection, also being chosen toUSA Today's All-USA New Jersey first-team in 2018 and to the New Jersey Sportszone All-Offense team.[4]He participated at theAll-American Bowland Polynesian Bowl.[4]A four-star recruit, Wallace committed to playcollege footballfor thePenn State Nittany Lions.[5]

College career

Wallaceredshirtedas a truefreshmanat Penn State in 2019 and appeared in four games.[6]He started seven games in the 2020 season and then started all 13 games in 2021.[7]He entered the 2022 season as a starter but was injured seven games in.[7]He returned for a final season in 2023.[8]In his final year, Wallace was named honorable mentionAll-Big Ten Conferencewhile starting all 13 games, allowing only a singlesack.[9]He declared for the2024 NFL draftand ended his collegiate career with 40 starts, all atright tackle.[1]He was invited to theEast–West Shrine Bowland theNFL Scouting Combine.[10][11]

Wallace was selected in the third round (68th overall) of the2024 NFL draftby theNew England Patriots.[15]He signed his rookie deal on May 31, 2024.[16]

Wallace made his first career NFL start in Week 3 against theNew York Jets,playing left tackle in place of the injuredVederian Lowe.[17]On October 4, Patriots head coachJerod Mayoannounced that Wallace would be placed on injured reserve.[18]
