Cat Daddy Gamesis an Americanvideo game developerand a studio of2Kbased inKirkland, Washington.[1]It was founded in theSeattlearea by Ryan Haveson, Harley Howe, and Patrick Wilkinson after leavingMicrosoft's games division in March 1996.[2]During their time at Microsoft, they compiled a list of features they wanted to see in a game, and upon forming Cat Daddy Games, started developingDemon Isle,anaction-adventure game.[3]In Q2 2003, Cat Daddy Games was acquired byTake-Two Interactiveand became an internal development studio for Take-Two'sGlobal Star Softwarelabel.[4]On September 10, 2007, Take-Two Interactive announced the opening of2K Play,a new sub-label for its2Kdivision, which consumed all assets of Global Star Software, including Cat Daddy Games.[5]
