Females
editA ring or other device is used to hold thelabiaclosed, preventing the wearer from having vaginalsexual intercourse.When denial of direct stimulation of theclitorisis the goal, arigid shieldcan be fastened over the clitoral area with labial piercings.
Males
editIn males, chastity piercing can be performed in several ways. Throughinfibulation(piercing the foreskin closed), aPrince Albertorfrenulum piercingusing a smaller gauge locking mechanism (preventingintercourse), or chaining a Prince Albert piercing to aguiche piercing(thus preventing anerection).[citation needed]More commonly, a piercing can be used in combination with achastity deviceto anchor the penis within the device and prevent it from being pulled out the back. The Prince Albert is the most popular piercing for this purpose.
