Christotokos(Greek:Χριστοτόκος,English:Christ-bearer) is a Greek title ofMary,the mother ofJesus,used historically bynon-Ephesian(or "Nestorian")Church of the East.Its literal English translations also includethe one who gives birth to Christ.Less literal translations includeMother of Christ.[1]
