Football career
editHuxford began his career as a junior withChelsea,and made his Football League debut for the club in the 1958–59 season,[3]before moving toSouthamptoninpart-exchangeforCharlie Livesey.[4]He spent eight seasons with Southampton, during which he played 320 games in all competitions, scoring 4 goals.[1]In 1967, he moved on toExeter Cityfor a season, playing a further 41 games and scoring once.[3]He went on to play for clubs includingWorcester Cityof theSouthern League,[5]after which he had a long career ascoachor manager with numerous clubs innon-League football.[6][7][8]
