Early life
editWalters was born on January 16, 1998, inOak Park, Californiaand attendedOak Park High School.He has 2 younger sisters, Harlowe Walters & Rocky Simo, and a younger brother named River.
Career
editHe began modeling for fashion brands includingTillysandLee.He began his acting career in commercials forSamsung Galaxyand the sports video gameNBA 2K15.He made his television debut in the comedy filmGrowing Up and Downin 2014. Curran got more roles on television, including his recurring role as "Young Jackson" in the seriesGame of Silencein 2016.[3][4]He also appeared in the first and second two-part episode (8 & 9) of "Girl Meets Ski Lodge" in 2016 during the third season ofGirl Meets Worldas Evan. Other television credits includeToo Close to Homein 2016,[5]Alexa & Katiein 2018, and the 2016 sitcomSpeechless.[6]
He made his second film appearance in the comedy-drama20th Century Womenin 2016, starringAnnette Bening,Elle FanningandGreta Gerwig.[7]Walters made his third film appearance in the science fiction film for televisionPlaying Deadin 2018.[8]
Walters made his breakthrough asJason Todd,the secondRobin,in the fifth episode ofTitansand had a recurring role in the series throughout the rest of the first season. For the second season in 2019, Walters returned as a series regular. He is the firstlive actionportrayal of Jason Todd in the character's history.[9]He booked the role after just one audition after the callbacks were canceled.[10]He later appeared as the character inthe CW'sArrowversecrossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths",alongsideAlan Ritchson'sHawk,via archive footage from the first season ofTitans.[11]Walters returned for the third season ofTitans,where his character took up the mantle ofRed Hood.[12][13]He reprised his role for one episode of the fourth and final season ofTitans,though he was still billed as a main cast member.[14]
