Curtiss Cook(born October 2, 1968) is an American character actor known for his roles inHouse of Cards,Manifest,Mayans M.C.,Luke Cage,Narcos,and others.
Early life and education
editCook was born inDayton, Ohioon October 2, 1968. He studied at theMountview Academy of Theatre Artsin London.[1]As a teenager, he danced with theDayton Contemporary Dance Company.[2]
Career
editAfter college, Cook moved to New York, and appeared on Broadway inThe Lion KingandMiss Saigon.[1]He also appeared in the filmsThe Interpreter(2005) andArbitrage(2012), and the television seriesHouse of Cards,Manifest,Mayans M.C.,Luke Cage,NarcosandThe Chi,among others. He plays Abe in theSteven Spielbergfilm adaptation ofWest Side Story.[1][2]
