Overview

The Group is involved inretail banking,consumer lending,mortgage lending,development finance,medium and long-termlease financingas well ascommercial real estate investments.DFCUwas established in 1964 as a development finance company. In 2005 DFCU Group comprised the following subsidiaries:[2][3]

DFCU Limitedis the holding company and it is listed on theUganda Securities Exchange(USE), under the symbolDFCU.[13]

DFCU House

DFCU Group built its new headquarters, which house the main branch ofDFCU Bank.The building is known asDFCU Houseand rises ten stories high. Located at 26 Kyaddondo Road, onNakasero Hill,inKampala'scentral business district,the development has underground andsurface parking,as well as rentable, retail and office space on several levels.[15]
