Daniel O'Haganis a freelance football commentator[1]and TV presenter as well as covering theUEFA Champions LeagueforSBSin Australia andBT Sportin England. Formerly he was the voice of the world feed for the French Football League. He is best known for being the youngest commentator in BBCMatch of the Dayhistory on the EnglishPremier League,and also for his work onESPN,Eurosport,Fox SportsandThe Football League ShowforBBC One.O'Hagan also commentates onBundesligagames in English.[2]

Originally fromStourbridgein theBlack Countryhe lived inNorwich,Norfolkfor many years while working forAnglia Television.[citation needed] Between 2009 and 2012 he was one of the commentators for theRoyal International Air TattooatRAF FairfordHe also produces and presents the popular Display Frequency aviation podcast.[citation needed]O'Hagan is a keen fundraiser forAlzheimer's diseasecharities, and has been since his father was diagnosed with the condition.[citation needed]

He supportsWolverhampton WanderersandIpswich Town.[3]

O'Hagan received a threatening email that was from an IP address located in theHouse of Commonsin June 2020, whose sender declared that he was trying to find the place where O'Hagan lived. The threat came after O'Hagan had criticised prominent right-wing politicianNigel Farage.[4]
