David Wilson (figure skating)

David Wilson(born May 25, 1966)[1]is aCanadianformerfigure skaterwho currently works as a choreographer at theToronto Cricket and Skating Club.[2]

As a skater, his competitive career was cut short when he was diagnosed withOsgood-Schlatter disease.[3]Following surgery on his knee, then 18-year-old Wilson toured withIce Capadesin North America.

With his then-partner, Jean-Pierre Boulais, Wilson settled in Montreal and began working as a choreographer.[3]Their breakout client wasSébastien Britten.

Later, Wilson moved toTorontoand worked with many notable skaters including World and Olympic champions and medalists.
