editBorn inNewham,Mubama joinedWest Ham Unitedat the age of eight.[3]On 28 October 2021, Mubama signed his first professional contract with the club.[4]On 3 November 2022, Mubama made his debut for West Ham in aUEFA Europa Conference Leaguetie against Romanian clubFCSB.[5]West Ham won the game 3–0 with Mubama's header diverted into his own goal by FCSB'sJoyskim Dawafor West Ham's second goal.[6][7]
On 16 March 2023, he scored his first, and only, senior competitive goal in theUEFA Europa Conference Leaguein a 4–0 win againstAEK Larnaca,after coming on as a substitute.[8][9]
Mubama was a member of the team which won the2023 FA Youth Cup,defeatingArsenal5–1 at theEmirates Stadiumin April 2023.[10]Having scored a hat-trick in the previous round againstSouthampton,Mubama finished top-scorer in the competition.[11]
On 30 June 2024, West Ham announced that Mubama would leave the club at the end of his contract finishing that day.[12]
Manchester City
editOn 29 August 2024, Mubama confirmed he had signed forManchester City.West Ham received a £2 million compensation fee as part of Mubama's move.[13]Mubama made his City debut on 11 January 2025, starting and then scoring in a 8–0FA Cupthird roundhome victory overEFL League TwosideSalford City.[14]
International career
editBorn in England, Mubama is of DR Congolese descent.[15]He has represented England at under-15,under-16,under-18,under-19level.[16]
On 12 October 2023, Mubama made hisEngland U20debut during a 2–0 away defeat toRomania.[17]
