Edward Laemmle(October 25, 1887 – April 2, 1937) was an American film director of thesilent era.He directed more than 60 films between 1920 and 1935.

Biography
editLaemmle was born inChicago, Illinois,and died in Los Angeles. He was the nephew ofCarl Laemmle,[1]founder ofUniversal Studios.His half sister wasCarla Laemmle,[2]dancer and actress and his brother was directorErnst Laemmle.He married Peppi Heller on April 8, 1923; the couple had two girls, Constance and Carlotta, and settled inBeverly Hills, California.
