Edward Reich(1903–1983) was aconsumer protectionactivist.
Professional history
editReich received a bachelor's degree fromCity College of New York,a master's degree fromColumbia Universityand a Ph.D. fromNew York University.[1]He directed theconsumer educationprogram of theNew York City Board of Educationand was a consultant on food pricing to theNew York City Department of Consumer Affairs.[1]Reich served on the board of directors ofConsumers Unionfor 30 years. There from 1958 to 1961 he served as vice president and as treasurer from 1961 until he retired in 1973.[1]
Personal life
editReich died at 80 years of age inMount Kisco, New York.[1]
