Egriqash(Persian:اگريقاش,Kurdish:ئیندرقاش,alsoRomanizedasEgrīqāsh;also known asGarīfāsh)[1]is a village inMokriyan-e Gharbi Rural District,in theCentral DistrictofMahabad County,West Azerbaijan Province,Iran.At the 2006 census, its population was 2,911, in 578 families.[2]

History
editAfter theIranian Revolutionin 1979, ShiaAzerbaijanirecruits in theIslamic Revolutionary Guard Corpsentered Egriqash and massacred the localKurdishpopulation.[4]
