editThe song was the first hit for Morandi,[1][2]and became a long-selling classic of his repertoire.[3]The song was launched in theRAItelevision showAlta pressione.[3]In 2023, on the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Morandi recorded a new version of the song in duet withSangiovanni,which premiered out of competition at theSanremo Music Festival 2023.[4]
The song was included inthe soundtrackof thePixarfilmLuca.[5][6]
