TheHall Peninsula[1]is a peninsula on the southern end ofBaffin Island,inNunavut,Canada. It lies betweenFrobisher Bayon the west, and theCumberland Soundon the east between 62°40'N and 65°10'W. The Hall Peninsula is part of theArcticTundrabiome—the world's coldest and driest biome. TheBlunt Peninsulaextends off the southeastern part of the Hall Peninsula.[2]
The Hall Peninsula includes theChidliak Kimberlite Province,which had been found to includediamond-bearingkimberlite pipes.[3]
