Herr Goeli(orGöli) was aMiddle High Germanminnesinger.Four of his poems survive.[1]They are found under his name only in theCodex Manesse. In three other manuscripts—theWeingarten Manuscriptand the Berlin and Frankfurt Neidhart manuscripts[2]—they are mistakenly attributed toNeidhart von Reuental.[3]In fact, they are deliberate imitations of the village songs (Dörperlieder ) of Neidhart.[1][4]They are of inferior quality.[3]Theirincipitsare:[5]
