Ian Chen(born September 7, 2006) is an American actor. He is known for his roles as Evan Huang in theABCsitcomFresh Off the Boat(2015–2020) andEugene Choiin theDC Extended UniversefilmsShazam!(2019) andShazam! Fury of the Gods(2023).

Ian Chen was born to Taiwanese immigrants[1]inLos Angeles, California.He has a younger brother named Max and both are fluent inMandarin.[2]He has shown enthusiasm for video games. Chen also sings and plays guitar in a band,[3]and is anaviationenthusiast.[4]He graduated fromArcadia High Schoolin 2024, and currently attendsHarvard College.[citation needed]
