Jacob Stanley Dudman(born 22 August 1997)[1]is an English actor, writer and filmmaker. He is known for his roles in theNetflixprogramsThe Stranger(2020),The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die(2023),Medici(2019),Fate: The Winx Saga(2021–2022) and theBBC iPlayerseriesThe A List(2018); as well as variousDoctor Whoaudio dramas forBig Finish Productions.

Early life
editDudman grew up inRipon,North Yorkshire.He attendedSt Aidan's Church of England High School.[1]He then studied Film Production at theLondon College of Communication,a branch ofUniversity of the Arts London.[2]
Career
editFilmmaking and YouTube
editAs a teenager, Dudman uploaded short films, impressions and comedic sketches on his YouTube channel, which gained him over 100,000 subscribers. In 2016, Dudman directed the 23-minute documentarySave The Rhino Vietnam,in which he and actorPaul Blackthornetravelled toVietnamto investigate therhino horn tradeand raise awareness for the rhino-extinction plight.
In 2017, he co-wrote, directed and starred in comedy sketchesThe Great CuratorandThe Solo JediwithJon Culshawand provided narration for the web-documentaryThe Almost Doctors,created by multi-media artistStuart Humphryes.Later in the year, he also directed and produced a 10 minute behind the scenes documentary ofDoctor WhoforBBC Worldwide.
Acting
editIn 2018, Dudman was cast as Dev inThe A List,a BBC iPlayer original series.[3]Later in the year, Dudman played a role in the third season ofMedicias Giulio de Medici, released in December 2019. In 2019, Dudman joined the cast ofThe Stranger(based on aHarlan Cobennovel) andFate: The Winx Saga(based on the ItalianNickelodeoncartoonWinx Club).[4][5]

editDudman has voiced the roles of theTenth,EleventhandTwelfthDoctorsas part of theDoctor Whoaudio drama range forBig Finish Productions.He has voiced many other roles for different Big Finish titles, including theDoctor Whomain range. In 2020, Dudman narrated the short filmFarewell,Sarah Janewritten byRussell T Davies,which was aired on the anniversary ofElisabeth Sladen's death.
