editCosta is a youth product of Brazilian clubsPalmeirasandCorinthians,before moving to Italy to joinRomain September 2021.[2]On 5 May 2023, he signed his first professional contract with Roma, valid until 2026.[3]On 30 September 2023, he was promoted to the senior Roma squad forSerie Amatches.[4]He made his senior debut for Roma as a substitute in a 2–0UEFA Europa Leagueloss toSparta Pragueon 9 November 2023. He scored his first goal for the team in a friendly match against Al-Shabab, contributing to the team's victory.[5]
