Jumpei Iida(Cơm điền thuần bình,Iida Junpei,born 14 August 1981 inOdawara, Kanagawa)is a Japanesefootballreferee. He has officiated matches in numerous international tournaments includingEAFF ChampionshipandAFC Cup.[1]Locally he has officiated regularly in theJ. League.In 2012, he officiated in the EnglishFA CupandProfessional Development League.[citation needed]
He broke the world record for the fastestred carddecision in a professional league match on 15 April 2009, when he sent offTokyo VerdymidfielderTomo Sugawara9 seconds into the match between Tokyo Verdy andSagan Tosu.[2]
Iida also officiated the pre season friendly betweenMelbourne VictoryandLiverpoolin front of over 95,000 spectators at theMelbourne Cricket Groundin 2013.[3]
