editSchon's first acting credit was in 1990 when he played Gillan and Gaias in theTurboGrafx CDvideo gameValis II.Two years later after his debut, he played Frank II and Mirabelle inThe Naked Truthand two years after that, he played Daryl O'Melveny inA Kiss Goodnight.
Schon frequently served as a voice double forNathan Lane.He voiced Timon inTimon & Pumbaa,The Lion Guard, andHouse of Mouse;Scott Helperman inTeacher's Petwhile Lane was busy withThe Producers;and Snowbell inStuart LittleandStuart Little 3: Call of the Wild. For three years, he was the "comedy voice" of theABCtelevision network, voicing all promos for their comedies (Home Improvement,Drew Carey,Roseanne, andEllen, among others) and was the promo voice forPolitically Incorrectwhen it moved from cable to ABC. Kevin's voice appears in over 40 episodes ofMarried... with Children, with two on-camera appearances.

In late 2003, Schon producedMore,an autobiographical one-woman show written and performed byYeardley Smithat theUnion Square TheatreinNew York City.It was critically acclaimed, but financially unsuccessful.
Schon was co-producer ofBat Boy: The Musicalin theUnited Kingdom, first in a limited run inLeeds, then in a full-scaleWest Endproduction at theShaftesbury TheatreinLondon.Even though most press reviews were scathing, one notable exception - TheEvening Standard- took up the cause for what became a groundbreaking cult classic which is now one of the most often-produced musicals in America. Film directorJohn Landiswas brought in to see the West End production and enthusiastically signed on to direct a film version. Though a film screenplay was written by the original authors under the guidance of Mr. Landis, the producers lost the rights to the property, the authors proved recalcitrant, vindictive and uncooperative, and the film remains unproduced.
