editAl-Marri was summoned for the2018 FIFA World Cup qualificationinRussiabased inAFC[clarification needed]for 12 matches starting with a match betweenNepalandIndia.
He was also summoned at the2019 AFC Asian Cupin theUnited Arab Emirates.[3][4]
Al-Marri was once again summmoned at the2023 AFC Asian CupinQatar.[5]
