Louis Chua Kheng Wee(Chinese:Thái khánh uy;pinyin:Cài Qìngweī;born 1987)[1]is a Singaporean politician. A member of the oppositionWorkers' Party(WP), Chua has been theMember of Parliament(MP) representing theRivervaledivision ofSengkang GRCsince 2020.

Education
editChua attended Townsville Primary School and Anderson Secondary School. After which, he attended Hwa Chong Institution.[2]
Career

Chua is an equity research analyst.[3]Prior to starting his career, Chua obtained a double degree in accountancy and business at theSingapore Management University,[4]he is certified as a Chartered Accountant in Singapore andASEAN.[4]
Politics
editChua was fielded in2020 Singaporean general electionto contest in a four-memberWorkers' Party's team inSengkang Group Representation Constituency(GRC) onWorkers' Party's ticket againstPeople's Action Party.[3]Chua's running mates areJamus Lim,Raeesah Khan,andHe Ting Ru.[3]On 11 July 2020, Chua and his team were declared to be elected to represent Sengkang GRC in the14th Parliament of Singapore,garnering 52.13% of the valid votes.[5]
Chua has been elected to the party's Central Executive Committee (CEC) as Head of Media Team since 2020. He was appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Sengkang Town Council (SKTC) since 2020.[6][7]
Personal life
editChua has been married since 2017 and is a father of two boys, born in September 2019 and November 2021, respectively.[8]
