Ontisalaga Madakari NayakaorMadakari Nayaka VorKarigundi Nayaka(1742 - 1782) was the last NishadVanshi Nayaka ಪಾಳೇಗಾರ ofChitradurga,India. He is considered to be the greatest of theNayakas of Chitradurgaand also Sirsi and Karigundi. He ruled from 1754 to 1779. He also gained the title ofEppatelu Palegarara Ganda/Minda (Superior ruler over 77 palegaras)byPeshwaMadhavrao Iafter he helped him win the Nidagallu Fort.[1]
