History
editTheMarysville Globewas founded asThe Leaderin 1891 and changed its name toThe Globeon February 2, 1892.[2][3]
In August 2007, theGlobeandArlington Timeswere sold by Sun News toSound Publishing.[4]
Sound Publishing suspended printing of several newspapers, including theGlobeandTimes,in March 2020 due to the economic effects of theCOVID-19 pandemic.By April, furloughs and layoffs at Sound Publishing left both newspapers without any staff.[5][6]
Delivery
editSince November 28, 2007, theMarysville Globedelivers one paper to every home with aMarysvilleaddress or in the cityurban growth boundary/city limits.[7]
