Matsuda Station(Tùng điền dịch,Matsuda-eki)is a passengerrailway stationlocated in the southern portion of the town ofMatsudainAshigarakami District, Kanagawa,Japan, operated byCentral Japan Railway Company(JR Central). It is also a freight depot for theJapan Freight Railway Company(JR Freight).

Station layout
editMatsuda Station has anisland platformand aside platformserving three tracks. The two platforms are connected with a footbridge, and anunderpassconnects the island platform with the station building. The station building has automatedticket machines,TOICAautomatedturnstilesand a "JR Ticket office"staffed ticket office.

History
editMatsuda Station opened on 1 February 1889.[citation needed]
Station numberingwas introduced to the Gotemba Line in March 2018; Matsuda Station was assigned station number CB04.[1][2]
