In 2003, Morris Multimedia announced that they would sellKARKinLittle Rock, ArkansasandWDHNinDothan, AlabamatoNexstar Broadcasting Groupfor an undisclosed price.[2]Later that year, it purchasedWCBIinColumbusfrom Imes Communications for an undisclosed price.[3]Between 2006 and 2008, Morris Multimedia purchased two television stations fromMedia General.These wereWDEF-TVinChattanoogaandWTVQ-DTinLe xing ton.The former was part of the acquisition that Media General also saw that they would purchase the smallerNBCO&Os, while the latter was to reduce debt flow Media General had invested in.[4][5]Also in 2006, it purchasedWWAYfromRaycom Mediafor $18.5 million as part of divestures regarding of Raycom's acquisition ofLiberty Corporation.[6]
