Neustadt am Rübenberge(Low German:Niestadt) is a town in thedistrict of Hannover,inLower Saxony,Germany.At 357km2(138sq mi), it is the 9th largest settlement in Germany by area (followingBerlin,HamburgandCologne), though only about 45,000 inhabitants live there. It is in a region known as theHanoverian Moor Geest.
