Paul Bernard Henze(29 August 1924,Redwood Falls– 19 May 2011,Culpeper) was anAmericanbroadcaster, writer andCIAoperative. He was involved withRadio Free Europeand wroteThe Plot to Kill the Popewhich advocated the view that theBulgarians were involvedin an assassination attempt onJohn Paul IIin 1981.[2]
