Pierre Camou(18 August 1945 – 15 August 2018) was aFrenchrugby unionadministrator. He was the President of theFrench Rugby Federationfrom 2008 to 2016, before he was succeeded byBernard Laporte.[1]Prior to becoming President of the FFR he was also the treasurer then vice-president ofFIRA-AER.[2]

In 2011, Camou was ranked by ESPN as the 20th most influential person in World Rugby.[3]Camou was also involved in France’s successful bid to host the2023 Rugby World Cup.[citation needed]
